When any one participates in any type of extreme sport, especially motocross they need medical insurance. Riders will face constant injuries while racing. Not having having insurance will definetly hurt the bank.
Among youth sports, Motocross is in the TOP 10 of the most dangerous sports.5,000 children are annually hurt riding all-terrain vehicles. Between the ages of 5 and 14 there are approximately:
81,000 Soccer Injuries       193,000 Basketball injuries 
130,000 Baseball Injuries   340,000 Bicycling Injuries
172,000 Football Injuires

Older riders that ride larger bikes are more prone to more injuires and more serious injuries. Broken thighs, ankles and collar bones are common motocross injuries. Motocross injuries accounted for 39,000 admissions to the ER in 1998. It grew to 47,400 in 1999.
Unfortunatly 28 people have died between `97 and `99.
